Expectations to Install a Glass Shower Door

Installation times vary from the time we measure your opening to the day we install a glass shower door.  There are a number of circumstances that come into play. For example, if you have a cast glass enclosure, it takes about 3 weeks just to fabricate your glass (and sometimes there are shipping lead times to get the glass to our facility).  Etching on glass can increase lead times as well as the glass need to be fabricated, laid out for the etching design, and then the etching process begins.  If there is custom edgework like a mountain top or S-Curve shower door, they can push out lead times as well.  Typically, we install most shower doors within 2 business weeks once the opening has been field measured.
